An aerospace company specializing in the repair and maintenance of corporate aircraft and avionics, West Star Aviation has hundreds of employees at ten different locations across the country. That means they can always use unique swag that lets employees know they're valued and also lets them show off where they work.

While traveling through Vietnam in 2019 to meet with one of Shirtboy.com's trusted headwear vendors, Dave Bannerton was inspired to try out a new embellishment technique—laser cut designs. Working with the production team at the factory, Shirtboy.com quickly expanded into custom-cut patterns, perfect for one-of-a-kind branding.

Having worked with West Star Aviation before, we at Shirtboy.com already knew they were open to cutting-edge swag. We took a six-panel cap and embroidered their logo across the front two panels. The next two panels were dual layers - the under layer red, Pantone-matched to their brand, the top layer black with their logo laser cut out in a repeating pattern so the red showed through. We finished it off with the same red on the edge of the brim for a polished look they couldn't find anywhere else.
